Well there was so much I would like to work on tonight, but I can’t because I have poor lighting in my house. My bedroom is the only room that I have very bright at night. My husband who goes to his meetings almost every night decided to stay home and relax in the bedroom with the no lights. Cannot do my embrodery because it is to small, cannot do my knitting because the yarn is to dark to see the stitches. I could read, but I want to do needle work. So I guess this week end I will go out and buy a lamp that I can use 150 watts.

I am making this lace scarf with a knit along, and I am having a terrible time with it.  I have frogged it at least 6 times.  I believe the needle I am using is to thick, so I have ordered a lace needle. Hope that helps if not, I am giving up. Thats not like me to give up. We will see.

Damian is sick with a bad cold and cough, he is crying and I want to go to him, but his mother and Sam are with him and I will just make her upset. and tell me that I am butting in.

Damian is a cute little boy who I help raise. He is only 2 1/2 years old.  His mom did not have time for him when he was a baby, so me and my husband took care of him.  We had his crib in our room with his dresser. Than five months ago my daughter decided she wanted to be a mother. So everything went into her bedroom. We are having a hard time as just being grandparents, as before we were like his parents.  This is best for both of them.  My hart just hurts a little.

Well today is Friday 8:30pm. I am home alone, and enjoying it.  Damian went with his father for the week end, my daughter is out with her boyfriend.  My husband is at his group meeting until 10:30pm. I’ve cleaned up Damian’s toys and cleaned the kitchen and living room. Brought out my yarns to play with.  I am waiting for my next tea towel to arrive so I can embroider and sent it on its way.  It really is relaxing to embroider, after knitting so much. I joined a lace scraf KAL from may 19 to June 19. Than on June 21 a joined a sox athon. I want to knit a shell for my granddaughter also.  I have a pair of socks I have to finish before sunday, I am almost done.  The shell will be finished by Sunday.  Have so much to do and here I sit typing away. It was a very hot day today.  So I stayed inside all day.  Tomorrow, Saturday need to pick up my new eye glasses. Than back home to knit. Or maybe I will go over to my daughter’s house and sit by the pool and knit.

I got my first alpaca yarn today, that was very exciting, how little things make me so happy. It is for the KAL, can’t wait to get started.  Dana saw the yarn and she wants some also to make her boyfriend a scarf.  Well my knitting is calling me. 

It turned out to be a good day. Took Damian (grandson) to the park. Came home worked on a tablecloth. I received my Tea Towel Tour in the mail, so I started on the Tea Towel pattern.  Visited with my older daughter Erica for a while. Spoke to a niece who I haven’t seen for about 5 months, it was nice,  My husband is now taking care of Damian.  Dana (my daughter and Damian’s mother) works till 10:30 pm. She goes to school in the morning and works in the afternoon. So we have Damian all week.  Thank God for week ends.  We are dieting in this household, we had a chicken salad for dinner, its 9:20 and my husband is in the kitchen looking for something to eat.  I threw all the sweets out this morning. He is settling on watermellon, which is really sweet. Well I need to spend some time with my hubby.

Don’t know where to start. I am going to use this as a journal. I have so much on my mind on what to do and I just sit here doing nothing. Watching my two year old grandson playing.  I have two tablecloths to finish and a pair of socks that need to be completed. I just bought the book of Joel Osteen, Become a Better You, that I want to read,  I need to go to the LYS to buy yarn for a KAL. The day is cold, so I just want to stay in.  My grandson would love to go to the park, thats where I am going to the park to clear my mind and play with Damian my grandson.
